Short information about the Project: In 2006, the “Experiment” Science Centre has been opened in that historic architecture alongside offices, laboratories, and also conference and exhibition spaces. It turned out that the city could acquire funds from the European Union for its endeavour. A competition for an architectural project for the expansion of the building complex has been announced which was won by the AEC Krymow & Partners office. The winning project brought back life to a slightly neglected and abandoned part of town. The architects decided to compose the historic halls from the the 1930s with an ultra-modern architectural design. Building’s function is designed for conference and exhibition purposes whilst it’s also going to be the new location for the “Experiment” Science Centre.
