Daniel is a qualified Polish legal adviser, partner and Head of the Real Estate & Construction Department. He has over 25 years of professional experience advising on the largest greenfield and brownfield retail, office and warehouse developments in Poland. He has also advised on disposals and acquisitions of major real estate assets including office, warehouse and retail, as well as the largest construction projects in Poland and major developments across the CEE region and in Russia.

Advised or advising: • Hillwood on the sale of a logistics centre in Kokotów to a fund managed by GLL Real Estate Partners; • a subsidiary of the Hillwood group on the sale of the remaining 50% of the shares in two companies which are implementing the Hillwood & PHN Pruszków warehouse park investment in Parzniew near Warsaw, to Polski Holding Nieruchomości; • Arrow Capital Partners, a private real estate company, on the acquisition of the prime urban logistics asset, Airport House in Warsaw; • Catella European Residential Fund on the acquisition of a mixed-use development project of residential apartments and student accommodation in the Polish city of Cracow for approximately EUR 20 million from US developer Hines; • Blackstone on the acquisition of a portfolio of warehouses.

Advised or advising: • Polskie LNG in the process of the expansion of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście, which consists of the following elements: additional regasification installations, a third LNG storage tank, LNG-to-Rail trans-shipment installation, and a second jetty; • Capital Park on the ArtN office-retail scheme in the centre of Warsaw (including the redevelopment of the former Norblin factory); • GGH, a joint venture of Chicago-based Golub and local Mennica, on the construction of the Mennica Legacy Towers in Warsaw, a class "A" office development in the centre of Warsaw; • Hillwood on the financing of the development of a logistics centre with an area of approx. 97,000 square metres located in Mysłowice, Gliwice, and Słubice; • mBank on the financing of the development of a mixed-use building in Cracow, comprising the five-star Autograph Collection Hotel Marriott and a residential building known as Angel Stradom.

We have recently acted on a number of high-profile and complex real estate transactions, such as: • the biggest investment deal in Poland in 2019 and one of the largest in the CEE region - sale of the BARN portfolio of distribution centres to the German investor GLL for EUR 175 million; • sale of the Zalando Lounge distribution centre to Hines Polska. We have an active construction team advising on leading projects in the market, such as advising Polskie LNG in the process of the expansion of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście.
