Company’s approach and policies towards sustainability in its work premises.:	Infosys is green company recognised by Newsweek in its list of top 10 green global companies – www.infosys.com/sustainability. Infosys BPO Poland works with local partners and providers who conform to green standards. It has implemented office waste management systems in cooperation with our green partners: Skanska and Stena. The company recycles waste and arranges for waste collection. It displays eco/recycling management information in the building. The number of printers has been decreased in the company office. Infosys is working on a reduction in used paper through the on-going implementation of tax and accounting e-documents. The project will reduce usage of paper per person by 11 pct by 2015. As tenants of a LEED Certified Green Horizon building, Infosys has achieved and estimates: a reduction of water usage by 35 pct; a 25 pct decrease in energy use compared to 2011 – the building is equipped with energy saving heating, ventilation, air conditioning and light systems; automated light switches in the common areas; an estimated reduction of energy use per one employee from the current yearly use of energy per employee – 1.668 MWh/year to a targeted 1.5 MWh/year – a 10 pct decrease of energy use; a reduction in water use by a 35 pct; an estimated reduction in water use per one employee from the current water use per employee – 6.66 cu m/year to a targeted 5.79 cu m/year/employee – a 13 pct decrease. All the materials used in GH construction and refurbishing are chosen to meet the eco parameters. Incentives are given to employees to cycle to work (underground bike stands, showers) and the location of Green Horizon promotes public transport use. Ergonomic and long-lasting office furniture is used. A ‘Green Team‘ group of employees has been set up to work on various green initiatives and educate their colleagues on how to be green. Educational campaigns are organised and, in partnership with Fundacja Nasza Ziemia, eco workshops for company employees. In Infosys’ new building, eco campaigns have been planned with Skanska and Stena.
