Currently we are realising 16 non-investment projects of 35 421 856,53 PLN value and 26 099 557,38 PLN level of financial support, 6 investment projects of 1 119 964 708,17 PLN value and 579 778 292,53 PLN level of financial support. In total it is 22 projects of 1 155 386 565 PLN value and 605 877 850 PLN level of financial support.
How open is the city to outside investors? Does it offer special incentives and investment development programmes? What are they?
There is Investor Support Centre operating within Kraków Municipality. The Centre is dedicated to supporting and informing investors, monitoring the investment process of the supported investors, preparation of meetings and site visits. The Centre in order to attract investors and to promote City investment offer takes part every year in international property trade fairs. There is a Special Economic Zone operating in Kraków. The Zone welcomes investors to make use of greenfield areas as well as office space for rent. Public aid from the title of investing within the special economic zone assumes the form of income tax relief. The city is constantly developing its conference base, which allows organisation of all types of business meetings, congresses and conferences. Kraków is a perfect platform for fostering effective cooperation between science, business and local government. As an example we can mention here clusters network operating in our city.
