Outstanding Non-Business Achievement of the Year, Poland
Regarding the tragic situation of Ukraine and the evacuation of thousands of Ukrainian citizens, Władysław Grochowski – the President of Grupa Arche decided to join the relief efforts. The company immediately launched aid by opening its hotels for refugees from the war zones.
Grupa Arche was one of the first companies in Poland to offer assistance on such a large scale. The hotels were filled with over 35 thousand refugees, mainly women with children, who acqiured a substitute for a home atmosphere and were given a sense of security in this crisis situation. Food, accommodation and all hygiene measures were provided.
5 months have passed since the Russian attack on Ukraine. It was a very intense time, but Arche proved that it is possible to act with heart.
During this period of time, Grupa Arche together with its Lena Grochowska Foundation provided free accommodation and meals for over 100,000 refugees.
Currently, Arche creates temporary homes for Ukrainian mothers with children, children and people with disabilities. Seeing the demand, the company gradually increases its accommodation base. Today it is 1,300 places in temporary homes throughout Poland, and more are under preparation.
