Globalworth Real Estate Investment, founded and controlled by Greek investor Ioannis Papalekas, is one of the biggest office space owners in Bucharest. Globalworth has been the most active investor in the office segment in recent years. The company, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, has bought several important buildings while also working on developing its own buildings.

Green Court Bucharest office complex comprises 3 buildings with ca. 54,500 sqm GLA. The acquisition of Building B represents an important milestone for the buyer who owns 2 of the 3 buildings in the city’s newest class-A office park, further consolidating its leading position in Bucharest’s new central business district. The 2nd deal with Skanska also shows Globalworth’s trust and appreciation of the top-quality seller’s assets and high working standards.
With ca. 18,600 sqm GLA, Building B was more than 80% leased at the moment of sale, with major tenants such as Carrefour Romania, Colgate Palmolive Romania and RINF Outsourcing Solutions.
The complex is expected to receive LEED Gold certification and features sustainable solutions used to minimize the building’s environmental footprint and significantly reduce its operating costs. Special parking spaces and facilities for bicycles, a green interior courtyard with free Wi-Fi, and charging points for electric cars will also be available
