Why your company should be considered for this award:

As the part of Skanska Owner’s Design Requirements – all company’s projects are certified on the minimum LEED Gold level. In Poland, two certifications have been completed in 2014 – LEED Gold for Wroclaw’s Green Day and LEED Platinum for Atrium 1 project. Atrium 1 is the most environmentally advanced office building in the whole Central and Eastern Europe. In the certification process it achieved the highest number of points among all the Polish office buldings certified in LEED 2009. Right now there are 8 buldings LEED Gold pre-certified in all Skanska CDE units and 1 LEED Platinum precertified. What is more, Skanska’s green policy is reflected in its offices, all LEED CI certified or precertified, some at Platinum level. Skanska consistently follows its Journey to Deep Green (aiming at maximum reduction of GHG emissions, usage of potable water etc.), having also educational program for property managers and tenants to teach people how to act green and use green solutions.
