Short information about the project:	The revitalization project of an abandoned sawmill dated back to 1884, near the historical Old Town, was financed through ERDF. The building served as a sawmill until 1929, then it belonged to the city which used it as a storing place. During the works, which lasted 2012-13, discoveries enabling exploration of the history, original technical infrastructure were made. The works aimed at bringing back a previous layout and look of the building and preserving/displaying its historical elements (reconstruction of the interior, previous wall partitions, former floor level, look of the façade, ceramic roof tiles, wooden pillars). A well-preserved timber roof truss, relicts of a steam engine and the whole steam propulsion system were displayed. A translocated chimney from a brickyard near Rozogi was erected in the place of an original one. The building is adjusted to serve the disabled and others as Centrum Techniki i Rozwoju Regionu with a vast education programme. No certificates granted.
