Building CHR2’s BREEAM score of 92.1% (New Construction) makes the 16,500 sqm logistics warehouse custom-built for Rhenus Logistics the greenest building in the Czech Republic in 2023. It was built with great attention to its pro-ecological features. The building offers a range of energy efficiency solutions, a significant percentage of green areas and a charging station for electric vehicles. Its sustainability is also enhanced by smart features such as interior zone lighting, external window blinds, temperature sensors, a “free cooling” system of special vents that help cool the building on warm days, underground retention tanks for rainwater management, waterless urinals and an Aquastop system that prevents water waste. The building was constructed using the highest quality, certified building materials. For these reasons, it was granted BREEAM certification (“Outstanding” level with a score of 92.1%). Location of the CHR2 allows easy communication with Germany, Austria and CEE.
