Despite market challenges posed by the pandemic and the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022, Skanska has remained strong. All ongoing office projects were completed on schedule, ensuring seamless occupancy for all tenants. The first half of 2023 marked the second-best leasing half-year in CDE history, with 29 deals signed. In May 2023, Skanska achieved a milestone lease agreement in Wrocław, with BNY Mellon, which was the largest such transaction in Wrocław since 2020. Skanska's commitment to sustainability and ESG principles continues to shine. For the second consecutive year, the company has been recognized as a "Climate Leader in Europe" by the Financial Times and Statista. Skanska's leadership extends to certifications, with over 1 million sqm of LEED-certified (76 projects) and 200,000 sqm of WELL-certified (13 projects) office spaces developed across the CEE.
