Ten members team focuses on mergers and acquisitions as well as the establishment and implementation of various joint ventures for the purposes of real estate acquisition, development, construction and exits from real estate investments by domestic and foreign investors. Within the last five years we have become the market leader and continue to hold that position based on the number of transactions (purchase and sale) executed by the largest developers operating on the Polish market. In our real estate practice, we also focus on local and cross-border deals involving large portfolios of logistics parks, office buildings, shopping centres, retail parks, residential developments, private rental sector assets and student housing. We provide comprehensive advice in respect of all types of legal issues specific to real estate as well as legal advisory services with respect to the entire real estate cycle. Participation in property sales and acquisitions between July 2022 and June 2023
1.A joint venture between Echo Investment and AFI Europe concerning the development of a building complex complete with office, commercial and PRS functions located along Warsaw’s ul. Towarowa. The value of the land for the project amounted to EUR 180 million and the transaction was certainly the largest and most prestigious mixed-use real estate project executed in 2022 in Poland.
2.A joint venture between Robyg and Centerbridge Partners concerning residential projects with a usable residential area of over 100,000 sqm in the Tri-City area and Warsaw. The transaction was the biggest residential transaction executed in H1 2023 in Poland. 3.The conclusion of sale and leaseback agreements for Zabka Polska related to its new 60,000 sqm logistics facility located in Radzymin near Warsaw. 4. This year we had the privilege in assisting our client, 7R, in entering into a strategic partnership with NREP, pursuant to which NREP will invest approximately EUR 200 million of new equity into 7R. |
