Vastint Poland is part of the Vastint Group, an international organization operating on the European real estate market since 1989. It invests in Polish real estate market by focusing on developing and managing assets in the commercial, residential and hotel segments. As both a developer and owner the company strives to create long-term value. The cornerstones of Vastint Poland’s operations are development activities including land acquisition, master planning, design, construction, leasing, and sales, as well as active management of own commercial properties portfolio.

He started his career in the construction industry in the 1980s and worked in senior-level positions in several construction and development companies in Sweden. In 1997, he became managing director of Vastint Poland. His new role was a perfect fit with his extensive work experience and broad industry knowledge. Roger has a strong preference for the Scandinavian management style, encourages others to develop and is keen to pass on skills learned in the industry.
Biggest business achievements, especially those made last year
The last two years are a testament to his leadership abilities. The company made it through the onslaught of the pandemic unscathed. Under his wing, Vastint finalized the K2 office building in Gdynia in the past year, started and continues without major obstacles construction of two mixed-use projects: Waterfront II in Gdynia and B10 Wroclaw, and secured several new mixed-use projects in three key cities in Poland. More importantly, the company recorded profits without making cost cuts or laying off employees.
