Why the company should be considered for this award:	PointPark Poznań is an ideally located and efficient base for logistics operators in Poland and across Europe. The park offers up to 194,570 sqm of warehouse space, including 131,269 sqm of zoned land for further build-to-suit developments. Key clients include Hager, DAMCO, JMD, ND Poland, CEVA and PF Concept. The park contains ecologically efficient solutions, such as solar panels that save up to 40 pct of the annual energy cost for heating water, ecologically efficient lighting which lowers annual operating expenses by 15 pct, and high-efficiency heating saving 15 pct of gas consumption for heating office and social areas. In 2012, PointPark Poznań has become the first logistics park in Poland to successfully complete the world’s leading sustainability certification process for buildings. An interim ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating was granted to two warehouses (‘DC5’ and ‘DC6’) at the design stage within the park. The park is now at the forefront of modern logistics facilities across Poland as sustainability and obsolescence rates become critical operational issues for companies. Energy-saving construction is not only in fashion - environmentally-friendly projects are becoming a more and more attractive product for investors. Tenants pay attention not only to the costs of their investments, but also to operational costs. Green buildings are now helping to enhance the image of developers.
