Being the largest project in the developer’s portfolio, the 210,000 square meter BTS facility in Gliwice was no exception. Despite the facility’s scale, commencing the construction Panattoni had launched the certification process in the BREEAM 2016 New Construction Commercial scheme successfully leading to “Very Good” rating at the end of June 2020. The investment project was assessed in 10 categories, scoring the highest in energy and water saving systems and land use and ecology. In those three categories it earned over 70% of points (the “excellent” level). he investment in Gliwice is Panattoni’s eighth project developed for Amazon. Delivered in the BTS formula, it is 317 m long, 182 m wide and 26.7 m high.
