The transaction saw a highly competitive tender process with most leading investors taking part. magnolia is a large retail project with a huge number of tenants located in Wrocław, which has the highest density of retail in Poland. Significant market knowledge wa required to fully understand the project. It was a complex share deal and corporate structure involving public companies requiring considerable understanding and co-operation from all parties to the transaction. Over 4,000 documents provided in the data room and the legal due diligence alone consisted of almost 500 pages. It was a very large financing to organise including paying-off a syndicate of banks each with different requirements. The transaction was completed in a very short time period between May and August 2011. Information was provided by buyer or seller or both parties"
