 The real estate department of the firm supports all types of property and project-finance transactions, such as acquisitions, long-term leases and construction, as well as representing clients in court and in arbitration.
Why company should be considered for the award.: Hogan Lovells’ real estate department, using its broad legal knowledge and business approach, helps clients meet their commercial goals by advising on all aspects of property transactions. The department was involved in advising Union Investment on the purchase of the largest shopping centre in Poland, the Manufaktura shopping centre in Łódź (the largest transaction so far this year, not only in Poland, but in all of Europe). The department also advised Kulczyk Silverstein Properties in the purchase, from Hochtief Development Poland, of two high standard office buildings located in the heart of Warsaw. It has also provided advice for Panattoni on the sale of a property portfolio comprising four warehouse projects to the Blackstone investment fund.
