New Small Retail Format of the Year, CEE

Any small retail project (retail park, convenience center, detached building used by one tenant, retail module in mix-use complex etc.) opened in CEE region between October 2020 and June 2022 (excluding modernizations and developments) is eligible to be nominated except for projects nominated in 2020. The jury will consider the reputation of the project, the tenant mix, the occupancy rates, the financial results, the level of local competition, the quality of the design and specification, BREEAM/LEED certification and also the success of the opening.

Browary Warszawskie - Warsaw Breweries

Warsaw Breweries is Echo Investment’s flagship destination project that combines new designs and facilities with the historical and industrial features of the former brick brewery in the centre of the Polish capital. Warsaw Breweries is a cohesively designed urban space, connecting offices, apartments for sale and for rent, services and unique food and beverage concepts. The project consists of c.a. 50,000 sqm of office space, over 1,000 apartments both for sale and for rent, great entertainment area with over 40 restaurant, cocktail bars and cafes, greenery, and public squares that are open to all. Since opening it has become the hottest place in the city.

Galeria Andrychów

“Galeria Andrychów” Power Center is the first large-scale shopping facility in Andrychów with a catchment of nearly 200,000 inhabitants of the city and the surrounding area. The nearest large urban centers like Bielsko-Biała, Kraków or Katowice are located between 30 and 60+ km away. “Galeria Andrychów” Power Center, with a leasable area of 24,000 sqm, offers 31 retail outlets, including a 2,200 sqm supermarket. Other tenants include a DIY store, electronics and home appliances store as well as clothing and footwear stores. The center offers 680 parking spaces for the convenience of its visitors.

Galeria Dekada

Śródmiejska galeria Dekada Nysa to największe i najnowocześniejsze centrum handlowe w mieście. Położona w sąsiedztwie Urzędu Miejskiego, Starostwa Powiatowego, Nyskiego Domu Kultury oraz dworców - autobusowego i kolejowego galeria wyróżnia się szeroką ofertą zakupową i jest idealnym miejscem rekreacji i spędzania wolnego czasu. W dwukondygnacyjnym obiekcie na powierzchni blisko 20 tys. mkw. na klientów czeka 55 lokali handlowo-usługowych, restauracje i kawiarnie, strefa rozrywki z multipleksem kinowym oraz podziemny parking na ponad 370 miejsc. W ofercie Dekady Nysa znajdują się m.in supermarket Carrefour, sklepy najmodniejszych polskich i zagranicznych marek modowych, oferta beauty, salony sieci z asortymentem dla dzieci i całej rodziny oraz produkty dla domu, elektronika i sprzęt AGD. Galeria Wiślanka

Galeria Wiślanka is the first modern shopping center in Żory, offering customers 20,000 sq m. of modern retail space (GLA), where most of the brands previously unavailable in the city, including the entire LPP Group, have opened their stores. The popular Lidl food discount store has also been opened in the latest retail concept, and the Helios cinema awaits those who are thirsty for cinema premieres. The first multi-screen cinema in the city. The gastronomic offer is also enriched by restaurants, including: Pizza Hut, Makarun, Burger Route 66, American Ice Dream, Sopelek or Lodomania. The architectural design with a sumptuous exterior mural refers to the tradition of the city and the nearby Museum of Fire. The shopping center was opened on October 22, 2020.

Vendo Park Chorzów

Trei has opened a retail park at Szpitalna Street in Chorzów in November 2021. In the facility with an area of 5,300 sqm nine stores operate. The investment executed under the Vendo Park brand, is one of 29 retail parks opened by Trei in Poland and developer's fourth Vendo Park in Silesia. It's also the first retail park developed by Trei as part of a joint venture with Patron Capital (both partners plan to invest EUR 140 million in retail parks in Poland). The project, which construction began in March 2021, was built on a plot of over 1.5 ha and consists of two independent buildings. The property includes nine stores – KiK, Dealz, Rossmann, Neonet, JBB, Kakadu, Action, Pepco and a food operator – Biedronka. Neonet and JBB stores are having their debut in the city. Thanks to a diverse and extensive shopping offer, Vendo Park provides access to all necessary products in one place. There are 200 free of charge parking spaces, as well as an Allegro parcel machine and an ATM.
