Prior to ZEITGEIST, Peter worked in institutional real estate in Germany, CEE and Turkey for HOCHTIEF Development and Rödl & Partner in Germany and Czech Republic. He is registered as licenced attorney at law in Germany and Czech Republic and holds a Law degree from Goethe University in Frankfurt.

ZZEITGEIST Asset Management is a real estate asset management company. It focuses its activities on sustainable and ESG-compliant value creation. Since 2014, it has been investing in key asset classes for private and institutional investors across Europe. It currently manages 47 active projects in five countries, with a total value of €1 B under asset management and a total area of land of 400,000 sqm. In terms of real estate development, ZEITGEIST focuses on three areas: Living, Working and Revitalization. In order to strengthen its position as an operator, the company is developing its own brand HOME by Zeitgeist (long-term rental flats). A part of the organization structure is also ZEITRAUM, an operator for student houses and serviced flats as well as ZEITSTROM, which focuses on smart energy solutions. In addition, ZEITGEIST shareholders have invested in the timber modules construction company TIMPLA.

The largest purchase transactions between July 2022 and June 2023
In mid 2022, Zeitgeist invested more than €1 billion in the development of a 27Ha site in Berlin-Lichtenberg. The construction project is one of the largest in Berlin. Now that planning permission has been granted, it can get underway. Zeitgeist launched an extensive public participation process to redevelop the 27-hectare neighborhood in Berlin with 3,500 flats.
Zeitgeist has big plans for the Lichtenberg district. In mid 2023, Zeitgeist was exclusively mandated by Karl Group to manage and further develop another area with 200,000 sqm of commercial space near the site of 27Ha. The client is a subsidiary of the Karl Group. The total value of the projects is around €2 billion. |
