Following the transaction, Panattoni stays on as the facility manager at all the properties included in the portfolio.

This marks the Asian investor's first investment in Poland and the transaction was handled by Savills Investment Management qoute: We ere happy to advise the Asian investor on their first acquisition in continental Europe and achieving an important first step in building a large, diversified pan-European logistics portfolio. We look forward to building on it in 2020 and are already considering a number of opportunities in other countries. The acquisition meanwhile takes our assets under management in Poland to over EUR 1.3bn, with a further EUR 250m in exclusivity in the country."

Panattoni assets are in high demand due to their full commercialization rate, high quality and standing of clients. The industrial sector is in high demand by the investment vehicles. 2.5 bn euro has been invested over the last 24 months in Polish logistics real estate through Panattoni’s newly-built warehouses. In addition, some Panattoni developed properties, predominantly BTS, have been traded as secondary transactions outside of Panattoni programs. E.g. an Amazon 160 000 sqm Fulfilment Centre in Szczecin, developed by Panattoni for one of its institutional clients-investors, was recently sold on the secondary market to Korean investors. Panattoni's plans for the up-coming three years are even more ambitious, and that will be possible thanks to the acceleration of projects targeted at Internet sales, as well as the ongoing strategy of the developer's expansion in Europe
