Kilometers for synanpsis/blue for autism
Cooperation with Synapsis foundation to increase the awareness of autism and the Asperger’s Syndrom
During the annual “Bike Day” event at Poleczki Park, in April 2017 its tenants took part in the spinning contest on the trainer bikes. Ubm Polska helped raise 5 000 zł for charity - Synapsis Foundation, by donating the money for each kilometer.The raised amount allows to organize around 100 hours of group therapy for childeren with autism and Asperger’s syndrome.
Additionaly, there was a cube sensory installation available for Poleczki Park tenants to vist for the whole day. This multimedia trip allows visitors to find out how the life of autistic people looks like. The bike charity event was just a part of bigger action called Light It Up Blue, organised by the Synapsis Foundation representing the parents of autistic children. On April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, office buildings are to be illuminated in blue as a sign of solidarity with those affected by autism. UBM decided to light up in blue its three buildings: Poleczki Park in Warsaw, Pegaz in Wrocław and Kotlarska 11 in Kraków.
