Trei Real Estate Poland is a part of Trei Real Estate GmbH group, headquarter in Düsseldorf (Germany). The group invests, develops and manages tailor-made and sustainable residential and retail properties in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal and the USA. The Trei Real Estate Poland team includes almost 50 professionals responsible for full development process execution, starting from land acquisition, through construction, to retail space leasing and property management. Since 2019, the company also runs the Trei Residential unit. Under the Vendo Park brand, Trei builds and leases retail parks in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. A total of 29 facilities have already been built, 19 of which have been developed by Trei Real Estate Poland and kept in the company’s portfolio. The company manages a total of 125 retail facilities (19 Vendo Parks and 106 Biedronka shops) located in more than 90 cities in Poland.

Jacek Wesołowski has 30 years’ experience in the retail, office and residential real estate sectors. He has been Managing Director of Trei Real Estate Poland since 2016. He is responsible for strategic decisions concerning investments, land acquisitions and development processes held by Trei across Poland. His main activities are focused on developing the Vendo Park chain (6 retail parks delivered between Oct’19 and Sept’20) and management of the Trei’s Polish retail portfolio of 125 facilities.

Trei is present in the Polish real estate market since 2016, being one of the leading developers in retail parks and convenience shops sectors. The company’s aim is to develop about 7 projects per year to establish a portfolio of 40 Vendo Parks in Poland. Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, Trei was one of the initiators and representatives of the community of retail park owners operating in Poland in talks with tenants. Since April, negotiations have been held with 38 chains and companies which operate over 900 stores in more than 200 locations across the country. This helped to reopen all retail parks in the country by the end of May. As an active small retail format ambassador, in 2019 Trei released the first ever report on the retail park sector in Poland, initiating a project of annual independent summaries published in cooperation with advisory companies. This year the report "Retail parks and convenience centers in Poland" was issued in September in cooperation with JLL.
