Construction of a tram line connecting a district inhabited by 80.000 residents with the remaining part of the City – a direct tram connection, expansion of the road system and an integrated transport hub.
Modernisation of railway infrastructure between Bydgoszcz and Toruń, including the expansion of the Western Junction and the construction of an integrated communication junction – Bydgoszcz-Błonie, Bydgoszcz-Leśna and Bydgoszcz-Bielawy.
Construction of the Bydgoszcz Fair and Exhibition Centre in the Forest Park of Culture and Leisure “Myślęcinek” with the total area of more than 16.000 m2.
Construction of “IDEA Business Space” Business Incubator in the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park in Bydgoszcz – a six-floor office building with more than 7.000m2 of usable area.

The City of Bydgoszcz is currently realising 18 projects supported by the EU with their total value amounting to 54,9 mln PLN and the EU funding value of 46,9 mln PLN (including 2 projects realised by municipal companies with the value of 0,594 mln PLN, including 0,567 mln PLN EU financing). At the same time, 26 applications for financing from the EU with the total value of 597 mln PLN and 394,6 mln PLN EU financing are being evaluated (including 6 projects carried out by municipal companies with the total value of 259,6 mln PLN and 149,6 mln PLN EU financing).

The City Hall has created the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency that provides wide support in contacts with local authorities, helps with gaining administrative decisions and supports investors in recruitment processes. The Agency manages the greenfield/brownfield real estates database. The Agency promotes the City on international events and organises 1-2-1 and B2B meetings. Bydgoszcz offers incentives like: Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency’s investment grants for modern services sectors and R&D, exemption from the property tax under regional aid and there is a special economic zone located in Bydgoszcz where entrepreneur can benefit from regional aid in the form of 35% to 55% incom tax exemption for the cost of new investment and/or the cost of creating new workplaces.

Bydgoszcz is located in central Poland at the intersection of national roads (future expressroads) with good connection to the motorways, main railway lines and has its own international airport. The City still improve communication by developing local infrastructure. Bydgoszcz has nearly 360000 residents and still available and skilled labour (1 mln people living in 50 km range). Bydgoszcz continually develops the office and warehouse stock with all the infrastructure and improves the business enviroment. The city has created one of the largest in Poland Industrial and Technology Park with subzone of the Special Economic Zone. Bydgoszcz still offers lower costs of living and investing than neighbouring Poznan, Gdansk or Warsaw with still available large investment plots (around 120 ha). All of the sectors are supported by 64k students and 20k graduates in the region each year from local universities.

Warehouse developers like Panattoni Europe, Waimea Holding and LCP Properties invested in development their facilities wchich give more than 200 000 square meters of warehouses planned and in the coustruction. In the office space sector there are Immobile K3, Arkada Invest, Hunger Development, Biznes Park and Otimum Park constructing currently more than 30 000 square meteres of the new office spaces. In the retail sector there are two projects in delevopment: Oultel Center and Metropolitan Outlet wchich will provide total of 27 000 square meteres of new retail areas. Potential investors represent such sectors like indsutrial, logistic, BPO/ITO and retail.

Through the Agency Bydgoszcz ensures extraordinary support during the investment process through dedicated project managers responsible for major industry sectors e.g. logistics and warehouse, office real estate, BPO/ITO and retail. One of the advantages is young and well skilled society. App.1 mln people live in the range of 50 km including nearly 360000 in the City. Bydgoszcz offers incentives like property tax exemptions, Special Economic Zone and there is also Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technology Park. Bydgoszcz within its administrative boundaries still offers sizable investment areas that exceeds 120 ha. That combined with an access to the skilled labor market translates to the excellent investment offer for current and future investors.
