Thomas Kurzmann is GTC’s CEO since 2014 and in May 2017, the Supervisory Board of GTC re-appointed him as President of the Management Board for a new 3-year term. His presidency is a time of GTC’s strategy shift. Following the successful completion of company’s capital increase, GTC is now realizing a growth strategy. Under his leadership, growing activity and improving results allowed the company to pay dividend in Q2 2017, which was another milestone in GTC’s growth momentum.

• Galeria Północna, opened in September 2017 and designed by APA Wojciechowski and Tzur Architects, is not only a shopping mall, but mainly a semi-open recreation space. It offers over 64,000 sq. m and 2,300 parking places. The project includes the active use of the roof which is landscaped with green walking paths. The unique design features have made it 1 of the most eco-friendly buildings in its category in Poland, earning it a LEED GOLD precertification. In Q2 its value was estimated for 244 million EUR.
• Galeria Jurajska (48,700 sq. m, 170 million EUR) – the 3rd GTC’s investment conducted in the sector of shopping and entertainment centers in Poland and the 1st modern facility of this type in Częstochowa.

• Galleria Stara Zagora is a multifunctional shopping complex opened in 2010, part of the international shopping center chain of the same name, developed and managed by GTC. The net built-up area of the project, situated on 4 levels, is 36,400 sq. m.
• Galleria Burgas provides more than 36,300 sq. m of net rentable area and 1,200 parking spaces. The mall is the first international-style shopping center with entertainment in the city and in the south-eastern part of Bulgaria.

Galeria Północna is the first large-scale shopping centre of fourth-generation in the northern part of Warsaw and it is the first shopping gallery of such size since over a decade that was completed in the Polish capital. The commercial complex of over 64,000 sq. m is located on Światowida Street in Warsaw. GTC Group is both the investor and the manager of Galeria Północna. It guarantees a commercial, entertainment and shopping offer which hasn’t been available in this part of town. More than 200 shops, boutiques and service points of national and international brands, food court, cinema with 11 halls and parking with 2,300 spaces are available to visitors.The tenants list includes, inter alia, the first in Poland Hamleys shop, LPP brands, Forever 21, TK Maxx, H&M, Cinema City, EURO RTV/AGD, CCC, sports club Calypso, Carrefour with full-sized hypermarket, Bierhalle, and Enel-Med medical centre. Cushman&Wakefield and JLL were responsible for the commercialization of Galeria Północna.

Ada Mall will offer 34,400 sq. m of state-of-the-art retail space designed and built according to the highest international standards. This first class shopping center will be located in Cukarica, directly opposite Ada Ciganlija – a popular recreational area. Apart from the state-of-the-art design concept and an attractive offer with over 100 shops and brands, Ada Mall will also provide entertainment and relaxation zones, like a panoramic roof garden with a view of the lake. GTC received the final building permit for Ada Mall in mid-February 2017 and started the construction in March 2017, whereas the opening of the mall will take place in autumn 2018.

Galeria Wilanów will be the very first major new generation shopping center located in southern Warsaw. The gallery is designed by the renowned APA Wojciechowski and Moshe Tzur architecture studios. Design will contain an entertainment section as well as a playground, leasable area will equal 61,000 sq. m including ca. 250 stores and service points.

GTC’s Polish flagship retail project was officially opened this September. Galeria Północna is the first major shopping and entertainment center located in Warsaw’s Białołęka district and - on top of that - it is the first modern shopping mall delivered in Warsaw over the last ten years. What’s more the investment was completed within 25 months after obtaining the construction permit. The opening of Galeria Północna in Q3 2017 more than doubled the value of GTC's income producing retail portfolio. This year GTC has also signed a binding term sheet for the financing of construction of Ada Mall, its first retail investment in Belgrade. The agreement concluded with Banca Intesa Beograd, VUB and PBZ, all banks of Intesa Sanpaolo group, one of the top banking groups in Europe, amounted to EUR 64 million.
