As integral part of the multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy offering, WSP in Poland provides a broad scope of environmental and sustainability services. We assist our clients from the very beginning of investment process with all necessary environmental compliance support, up to sustainability and energy consultancy and successful green certification. By integrating environmental and sustainability premises into every project, we are working closely together with technical engineering teams to provide future-ready buildings and industrial facilities. The quality of our project delivery is valued by our clients, being leading investors, developers and general contractors on the market. We have registered the first BREEAM certification in Poland in 2009 and the first Industrial certification in 2011. Since the beginning of company operations in Poland in 1999, we have completed more than 500 environmental and sustainability projects.

In 2016 our expert obtained accreditation as the first WELL AP in Poland. We are therefore providing consultancy on the innovative WELL standard and certification. This is a performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and well-being. We are also now providing Energy Efficiency audits according to Energy Efficiency Directive of the European Commission.

As one of the few companies in Poland we are able to assist our clients with such broad range of environmental and sustainability services: from environmental audits, permitting, remediation and Health and Safety through sustainable buildings’ design consulting and certification (BREEAM, LEED and WELL) to advice on energy efficiency (including 3D energy modelling). Our team comprising environmental experts, geologists, hydrogeologists, ecologist, BREEAM assessors, LEED APs, WELL AP and energy efficiency experts completes annually around 50 environmental and 20 sustainability projects. In 2016 we were especially proud to assist Hines Polska with BREEAM In-Use certification of New City II, which was nominated to BRE Awards as the only project from Poland. As the first practice globally, we have also launched “Future-Ready” program, including future trends in our advice to clients to help them plan for the long term.
