Generation Park Y is Skanska’s LEED Platinum, WELL GOLD, WELL H&S certified, and soon to be Building Without Barriers certified skyscraper in Warsaw. Completed in Q1 2021, was designed and built according to ESG principles in line with environmental and social aspects.
In June 2020, before the completion of building, Skanska signed a 10-year lease with the insurance company PZU Group for 47 600 square meters office space and in addition 325 parking lots in the skyscraper office building. This has been the largest office lease agreement in terms of square meters in Skanska's history. It was also the largest office lease agreement in 2020 in the CEE region.
Following successful lease agreement, Generation Park Y was sold in 2021, during ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, to HANSAINVEST Real Assets. It was the biggest transaction on the office market in the CEE region in 2021 and the biggest sale in the history of Skanska’s commercial business development unit in CEE history at the same time
