Prior to joining Ghelamco, he has been working for PricewaterhouseCoopers Real Estate, Cushman&Wakefield, Healey&Baker Poland, where in 2002 he became a partner, and in CB Richard Ellis where he was head of commercial department. He worked on the development and leasing of prestigious Warsaw properties: Rondo 1, Klif, Kopernik Office Building and Metropolitan.
Biggest business achievements, especially those made last year
Currently Ghelamco has 4 towers under construction: three within The Warsaw HUB complex and Warsaw UNIT. Jarosław Zagórski was working on one of the biggest deals on the Polish office market in 2019: Warta has leased almost 18,000 sq. m in Warsaw UNIT, and Getin Noble Bank will occupy approx. 18,500 sq. m in The Warsaw HUB. He is responsible for huge commercial success of The Warsaw HUB – almost 80% of the building is leased.
Jarosław Zagórski was also responsible for leasing previous Ghelamco projects, which in 2019 resulted in a very good sale of these projects. In January 2019 Ghelamco sold the .BIG office building in Kraków for EUR 32.9 million. In April 2019 the Wronia 31 project was sold for EUR 74 million. The transaction value amounted to EUR 74 million. In the most recent months, the flagship Ghelamco project, i.e. Warsaw Spire skyscraper, was also sold for the record-breaking value of EUR 386 million on the Polish real estate market.
Contributions made to the improvement of the CEE commercial property market
Jarek Zagórski was responsible for the Warsaw Spire project together with the European Square. The building itself, together with the public space created around it, attracted attention all over the world. The culmination was the MIPIM Awards Best Office & Business Development 2017 for the first time in history assigned to a project from Poland.
