Brief information about the project from an architectural point of view: |
Silesia Business Park is a complex of four class A office buildings offering a total of 48 000 sqm of space. In February 2015, Skanska commissioned for use the first of its planned four buildings on the location. Building A provides 12 000 sqm of green office space on its 12 floors above ground. It is already 80% leased. Silesia Business Park A has been designed to fit the surroundings. The three-coloured panels on the façade create a harmonious composition, blending in with the cityscape. It was created with alternating strips - thirteen black, eight white and five gold, which has already been unofficially titled as the "tiramisu". Building A is already a distinctive and memorable landmark for commuters entering Katowice along Chorzowska street, one of the main arteries of Katowice. Modern building revived the neglected area around the former Baildon steelworks and is representative of the change Katowice is undergoing, from a post-industrial city to an attractive investment area. |
