Buro Happold is an international firm of designers and consulting engineers set up in 1976 with a strong presence in Europe, delivering outstanding and award-winning projects. The Warsaw office was established in 1997 and reached 130 employees. Buro Happold Polska has a large portfolio of projects in Poland, Germany and the UK, but also in the US, China, the Middle East and Sweden. Our key sectors are commercial offices (including high-rises), cultural sector and retail, but also infrastructure and sport projects. He has over twenty years of experience in the design and project management of commercial, cultural and infrastructure projects. In January 2020 Buro Happold was awarded Builder Magazine’s “Building Company of the Year” and Zbigniew “Building Personality of the Year”. Buro Happold in Poland is a local company with vast international experience. BH engineers are working on projects located in Poland, Germany, UK, and US. This creates an exceptional team of engineers able to look at things not only from the local perspective. The multidisciplinary approach providing integrated design in structures, plumbing, mechanical and electrical engineering with advanced use of BIM and scripting is the strength of the company. Over the last year Buro Happold Warsaw has worked on absolutely amazing portfolio of projects ranging from infrastructure (Księcia Janusza Metro Station), to commercial offices including high-rises (e.g. the tallest high-rise in the EU - Varso Tower), office fit-outs the biggest mixed use centre currently built in Europe (USQ in Hamburg), museums and concert halls (Moma, Polish Army Museum and Sinfonia Varsovia) and Polish Embassy in Berlin. All designs are complemented with a passion for sustainable and climate responsible approach.
