Joined Atrium in 2015 as CEO of Atrium Poland. His duties involved the supervision of all business aspects and positioning of the company as the leading owner and operator of shopping centres with dominant position in the regions. Initiated and successfully saw through to completion of the program of redevelopment / expansion of 3 flagship Atrium SCs in Warsaw which brought further increase in the quality of Polish portfolio, now worth 1.8 bln euro. Atrium is focused on high quality assets in strong urban locations at the heart of their communities. The top 10 assets are 2/3 of total portfolio value and 45% of the GLA. High quality and convenient locations coupled with healthy retail, leisure and necessity anchor tenants provides resilience to evolving retail climate.

In July, the company announced acquisition of iconic retail complex WARS SAWA JUNIOR. Transaction was finalised 23rd of October for 301.5 mln Euro, adding 26,000 sqm of retail space and 11,000 sqm of office space to Atrium portfolio in the prime location in the heart of Warsaw.
Future plans
Company is actively continuing to rotate assets, shifting towards dominant assets in strong urban location, with positive demographics and growing purchase power. Focus is on two markets: Poland and Czech. Working consequently on changing the profile of Atrium portfolio, at the same time Atrium is investing in parallel projects of redevelopment and refurbishment of its flagship assets. Redevelopments are carried out in accordance with the strategic direction of making shopping centres the 3rd place, in the heart of the local communities, in urban agglomerations. Atrium is pioneering new ways of shopping, dining and leisure, building the next generation of retail and customer experiences. Why the company deserves the award (in a paragraph you can describe the specific achievements of the company)
Company is implementing an ambitious, long-term plan that assumes investments of over EUR 300 million in redevelopments of Warsaw flagship assets, EUR 115 million has already been invested as of end of June. In 2018, Atrium added over 26,000 sqm of new, high quality retail space to its three shopping centers in Warsaw. Atrium carried out its investments simultaneously in three locations. Expansion of the Atrium Promenada, Targówek and Reduta were successfully conducted without closing shopping centers to customers. Thanks to new investments, the company offered its clients an extended fashion, gastronomy and leisure offer in modern, high standard space enriched in new amenities and services.
