Following the success and growth of our regional Project Management business and in response to market demand, in 2018 we launched our Design & Build capabilities across the European business. The new Design & Build service line supplements our existing Project and Cost Management capabilities by offering space planning, design and engineering plus the ability to deliver the physical fit-out works and all finishes. The new D&B service line at Cushman & Wakefield makes it possible for Clients to contract one single service provider for turnkey projects. We are now able to offer a truly full service offering which can reduce risk, reduce time and offer better value and more transparency for our clients. We are working on several projects with both occupiers and investors in the CEE region and we expect a strong growth in this sector. Key stats and achievements in summary are: • Team revenues grown by over 50% in last 2 years • Large loss-making to very healthy profit making within last 2 years • Hand-built team of top professionals combining engineering, cost management, construction management and design expertise • Key wins in the occupier and owner/investor sectors including Dolby and Huawei in the occupier sector each over 5,000 sqm with very complex briefs and Union Investment, Vienna Insurance Group and Deka in the Owner/Investor sector. Deka alone is a mandate across 18 buildings in Poland with C&W responsible for a large volume of PjM work • C&W is also the incumbent PjM for all Citi Handlowy (Citibank) projects across Poland. • All PjM work is performed exclusive We should be considered for the award on the basis of progress made and current profile since only a few years ago. The PjM team at C&W was historically loss-making but has been transformed in a very short time frame to a lean and profitable team in 2017. Our team in Poland is international with good gender balance and a great skill set. It has secured a long list of high quality mandates this year and last and is very well regarded by piers within C&W and on the local markets. A great pipeline is already in place for 2019 and beyond.
