Zalando (Szczecin, Poland)
Zalando logistics center comprises a grade A logistics warehouse with total GLA is of ca. 124,000 sqm upon a foot print of 94,000 sqm, a mezzanine level with 20,600 sqm and ca. 9,000 sqm office and social areas. The buildings and their surroundings were completed in 2017, although fit-out works are ongoing to two sections of the warehouse with an anticipated completion date before the end of 2018.
Premier Outlet Budapest (Budapest, Hungary)
Premier Outlet is situated, as typical for outlets, outside of the city center location with good ingress and egress, near the M1 motorway interchange and hence benefits from a good car connectivity. Premier Outlet is the largest of two outlet centers in Hungary. The complex incorporates 128 units, over 23,350 sqm of GLA, with national and international fashion, outdoor, sport and lifestyle brands offering 30%-70% discount all year long.
Why the company deserves the award (in a paragraph you can describe the specific achievements of the company)
In 2018, DWS’s real estate investment business acquired Zalando logistics center in Szczecin and Premier Outlet Budapest shopping center in Budapest, Hungary.
The purchase of the logistics center and shopping center follows a string of other DWS landmark acquisitions in Poland and the neighboring region. Across Central & Eastern Europe, DWS’s real estate business currently holds EUR 1.8bn in assets under management as of end of August 2018 totaling 18 projects, including oustanding properties like Rondo 1 and Metropolitan in Warsaw or Stary Browar in Poznań.
Since the beginning of 2018 DWS in CEE signed 170 leases standing for 24k sqm of office, 20k sqm of retail space and 128k sqm of warehouse.
