Ozimska Park is an innovative on a regional scale retail park located in Opole, Poland, in which an ineffective building (Tesco) was transformed into a customer-friendly retail facility. Ozimska Park is a notable example of a sustainable approach to renovation and construction. The primary assumptions of the project were development of a modern and freely accessible space, removal of the architectural barriers and creation of a unique place on the map of the region constituting not only a shopping point, but also one for social integration. Ozimska Park in Opole was recognized in the 2023 European Property Awards and won in the Commercial Renovation / Redevelopment Poland category. Ozimska Park was opened in November 2023 with a retail area of 17,000 m2 GLA. Currently, there are twenty-nine stores and services with Kaufland as grocery operator.
