The facility is projected to be fully operational by 2025, boasting segments that will tower over 22 metres - a clear deviation from standard logistics buildings. The centre is aiming for the BREEAM New Construction Certification at the Outstanding level, reflecting a commitment to strict environmental standards. In a bid to emphasize its environmental dedication, the facility has set aside tens of thousands sqm for green spaces, with plans to plant trees compensating for any arable land loss during construction. Innovations like the inclusion of heat pumps and the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof will cater to a substantial segment of the building's energy requirements. The centre also promises economic growth, poised to create nearly 2000 jobs.
