Description of achievement / project
We make a significant contribution to empower and uplift the Praga-Północ community. Our activities between July 2022 and June 2023 include:
• Heritage and cultural education: - organizing regular historical walks and workshops on Praga-Północ - free theatrical performances and concerts - supporting local artists and craftsmen - supporting teachers in local schools by dedicated workshops - reading evenings - organizing art exhibitions and workshops for kids from Praga with artists, ex Wilkoń. • Engaging community in physical activities: - free dance and yoga lessons - dance evenings for seniors - ice rink (free access for local schools) • Charitable activities: - supporting youth affected by mental health problems by organizing charity concert with Empowering Children Foundation; - organizing a collection of needed articles for people affected by the war - organization of a blood donation drive - supporting local kids support centers - organization of the final event on Praga-Północ of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity • Ensuring the well-being of senior citizens by annual co-organization the Senior's Days with free preventive medical examinations, social meetings and guided tours Our actions were recognized and appreciated with Ad Rem Award for supporting social and educational activities from the Praga-Północ district authorities and Praski Wolontariusz award. We will continue our activities to make positive changes and to have a meaningful impact on the integration |
