Our major challenge was that Polish construction market was unsure what it takes to be sustainable. Moreover there was not any precise, transparent data to show the potential of a green building and to clarify to its users the impact it can have on their lives. That’s why Construction Marketing Group initiated a non-profit project that explored the perception of the value of green buildings. The results of the study provide us with the picture of how green developments are seen and show that the investors, developers and tenants expect sustainable trends to grow, but the awareness of green design attributes is still low, especially regarding workplace productivity and health. The study findings have been used by WGBCSD and the European Commission.
