Brief information about the project from an architectural point of view:

HB Reavis’ big idea behind the design of Gdański Business Center I was to convey the character of the modern office complex while respecting the unique spirit of the Warsaw’s Muranów district. The project’s main feature is the contrast between the 2 buildings. Each one of them is completely different and refers to its immediate neighborhood. The original form of building A, the complex architectural dominant, reaches beyond the vicinity to metropolitan Warsaw. Its vigorous, atypical glass façade orientates the building north-eastwards to overlook Słomińskiego Street, one of the major urban thoroughfares in the district. The design of the lower, more classical building B reminds of the traditional Warsaw`s architecture. The windows within the stone cladding, made of sandstone "Teakwood" originating in India, seem to be ‘punched’ into the walls, creating interesting depth and light-and-shade effects. The original design of GBC I adds a new, contemporary landmark to the Muranów skyline.
