New Warehouse of the Year, CEE

The award is open to any significant warehouse/distribution centre opened in CEE between October 2019 and September 2020. The jury will consider its reputation, occupancy rates, financial results, the intensity of local competition, the quality of the design and specification, BREEAM/LEED certification and the development history. Both built-to-suit projects, as well as multi-tenant projects, are eligible.

7R Park Łódź West (Konstantynów)

7R Park Łódź West I is a modern warehouse park with a total area of 32,000 sqm, consisting of two A-class facilities, located on Inwestycyjna and Janika Streets in Konstantynów Łódzki. It is 100% leased to four tenants from pharmaceutical sector, including Medezin, a brand from Pelion Pharmaceutical Group. Due to it’s convenient location and high-quality space, the 7R’s logistics park become an important distribution hub for pharma sector in central Poland and nationwide. The proximity of the A1 and A2 motorways provides excellent conditions for local, national and international transport. 7R Park Łódź West I’s location adjacent to the newly built S14 western bypass, guarantees access to infrastructure and is within easy reach of the city, which can also be an important issue for employees. Thanks to the implementation of the latest ecological solutions, which increase energy efficiency, both buildings in 7R Park Łódź West I are BREEAM certified.

A2 Warsaw Park

A2 Warsaw Park is a modern warehousing and office complex,with total 104 000 sqm,designed for both storage and light manufacturing operations.It can be adapted to the needs of different tenants, in terms of the technical specs as well as the individual arrangements of manufacturing, warehousing, office and staff spaces.The facility, BREEAM-certified with a “Very Good” rating, has also been finished with the new look. According to the latest standards implemented by Panattoni, the warehouse was featured a new colour scheme, glass facade in the office section and enhanced greenery. A2 Warsaw offers flexible warehouse and office modules, spacious maneuvering yards, parking spaces, as well as numerous docks and zero gates.Warehouse is just 500 metres away from a direct entrance onto the A2 motorway in both directions. Being so close to the most important roads in the country is excellent both for domestic and international trade, including with Poland's largest trading partner-Germany.

Panattoni Amazon Lodz

The Amazon e-commerce logistics centre in Pawlikowice near Łódź has an area of 44,810 sqm. The facility is designed for storing and shipping products, as well as offices with a higher finishing standard for designated teams. The investment was planned and constructed in line with the sustainable construction principles, starting from the design, through construction and operations. The facility has a very high level of energy efficiency and water savings, and the implemented solutions significantly minimize its impact on the environment f.ex. reduction of primary energy demand by 54% and CO2 emissions by 52% and reduction of drinking water consumption by 62%. DL Invest Park Psary

DL Invest Park Psary is one of the largest supra-regional logistics and warehouse complexes with high development potential. DL Invest Park Psary has been comprehensively prepared for the implementation of the investment, i.e. it has a local zoning plan and a building permit for warehouse facilities with a total lease area of over 320,000 sqm. This logistic center has a perfect location in relation to a region with a well-developed road infrastructure. The complex has a full, direct relationship with the national road no. 86/S1. A key asset is also the fact that the property has a complete accompanying infrastructure ensuring almost unlimited development opportunities within the scope of over 900,000 sqm of real estate. In addition, DL Invest Park Psary has a dedicated transfer centre providing public transport connections with neighbouring cities, and in the vicinity of the investment there are 9 bus lines ensuring the frequency of lines during the working hours of the centre's users.

MLP GLIWICE

MLP Group has successfully completed the construction of its first logistics park in Gliwice, which has significantly enhanced the attractiveness of the region. The modern storage space has attracted new investors who have created new jobs. Providing a total of approximately 45,000 sqm of modern space, the facilities have already been fully commercialised and are currently occupied by three tenants, of which the first one to sign the lease contract was Żabka Polska, Poland’s largest chain of convenience stores. It uses space of approximately 25,000 m2, of which approximately 4,000 m2 are cold and freezer rooms. Another 11,000 m2 has been leased to Just in Time, a logistics outsourcer, which uses the warehouse space primarily for storing goods. The third tenant at MLP Gliwice is InPost, Poland’s largest independent logistics operator providing modern services to retail and institutional customers, including comprehensive services for the e-commerce industry. The space leased to InPost is BREEAM-certified. The logistics park offers the premium standard, featuring environment-friendly solutions and complete infrastructure, including car parks for passenger cars and trucks, as well as manoeuvring yards.

Panattoni Park Cheb

Panattoni Park Cheb South – Real Digital hall in Cheb is an industrial building built to a high standard and in a modern way, paying attention to its environment and well-being of future employees. The hall was constructed on brownfield site with low ecological value. New logistic complex provides job opportunities in the area and offers storage space rentals. First Outstanding BREEAM International 2016 New Construction achieved in the Czech Republic with the best score in the world, 90,68%. The daily consumption of drinking water has been reduced by amazing 83,88 % referred to the baseline thanks to installed rainwater flushing system. Primary energy consumption has been reduced by 55,61% referred to the baseline. CO2 emission rate of the building has been reduced by 57,88% referred to the baseline. About 12% of installed materials have ISO 14001, BES or FSC certificate.Over 90% of waste was diverted from landfill during construction.

PepsiCo’s central warehouse

PepsiCo's central warehouse is the largest warehouse of the PepsiCo’s distribution network and also the largest facility of this type completed in Poland in Q1 2020. The cubic capacity of the warehouse is so large that if one wanted to fill the building up with cans of the brand's flagship drink, as many as 2 billion of them would be needed. Over the course of the last few years, the implementation of new central warehouse has been for PepsiCo pivotal element of the modernisation of the finished product storage system in Poland. Prologis Park Janki DC4

DC4 is first part of the 125,000 sqm deal for EURO-net which ultimately will comprised 2 BTS - to create one of the biggest in Europe distribution centre for traditional retail and e-commerce. The loading dock area was designed with the first row of pillars moved back and the whole area lit with LED lighting of 300 lx and 5% daylight. Double entry/exit for trucks and separate points for cars as well as turnstiles for pedestrians improves traffic flow and increases safety. Wellbeing of employees was paramount, with convenient transport options – including bus stop in the park, 820 carparking spaces, 74 for trucks, 4 bike shelters and 4 charging stations for electric vehicles – as well as 8,000 sqm wellbeing zone with plantings of trees, shrubs and honey plants. Equipped with smart solutions, including smart metering system to remotely view and monitor utility consumption, remote technical support of the buildings, and automatic LPR system. Submitted for BREAM Very Good accreditation.

SEGRO warehouse facility in SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki

On the basis of two pre-let agreements, SEGRO finished the construction of the first phase of the planned investment size of 11 600 sqm. One of the signatories of the agreement is Arjo Polska, which has been operating for many years within the same SEGRO park. Second one: Colquimica Adjesives, is also a long term SEGRO customer expanding inside the park. The pace of construction: only four months from mid-May till mid-September was impressive having in mind COVID-19 conditions. As an additional advantage two chargers for electrical and hybrid vehicles were installed within the facility. The project will undergo BREEAM certification, which is a guarantee of high quality of both the workmanship and ergonomics during the building operation.
