Skanska Group in Poland has introduced a number of innovative solutions to the market, such as modern tools used in general contracting (f. ex. the first BIM 360 system implemented during the development of Green2Day project). As for the office building industry, the company has already used solutions such as 3D virtual strolls or applications for tenants (f.ex. electric car that is given to tenants of Atrium 2 is application-driven). Skanska is also the first developer in Europe that will build a hologram of office building – Generation Park thanks to Microsoft HoloLens head-mounted smartglasses.

In Q4 2015 – Q3 2016, Skanska CDE started 5 new office buildings in CEE. The developer has been most active in PL (3 projects). Other latest new developments are located in CZ (1) and HU (1). The company sold 5 projects in PL (Kapelanka 42 A, Axis, Silesia Business Park A and B – within portfolio deal*, and Dominikanski) and signed 16 lease agreements for 33,882 sqm.
Skanska’s 1st office portfolio transaction in CEE – a sale of 4 buildings in Kraków and Katowice, was 2015's biggest office divestment realized in CEE and the company's biggest ever transaction in the region.
Skanska’s sales in Poland contributed to 25% of national and 45% of regional office deals in 2015 (PL office transactions volume: EUR 1.3 bn).
In 2015, Skanska CDE concluded sales worth ca. EUR 500m for the year. The company’s sales activity accounted for over 20% of the total transaction volume in the office sectors of CZ, HU, PL and RO.
