Short description of company:

Goodman owns, develops and manages logistics and business space all over the world. It also offers a range of property funds, giving investors access specialist services and exclusive property assets.

Why company should be considered for the award:

Goodman closed the 2014 financial year with approximately 271,000 sqm of warehouse space under management in Poland and a further 282,000 sqm under development. On completion, Goodman will double the size of its existing portfolio, confirming the fact that Poland remains a its key growth market. Almost half of this expansion is complete with the handover of the development for Amazon in Wrocław, one of the largest logistics facilities in CEE. In June, Goodman commenced the development of an 11,000 sqm speculative warehouse at the Kraków Airport Logistics Centre. Lately Goodman also has started to expand its Pomeranian Logistics Centre, with a new 14,000 sqm warehouse. Goodman has achieved great success for its speculative builds, typically fully leasing each phase of development before completion. Noteworthy is also that Goodman signed the largest deal on the Polish warehouse market in H1 2014 – an agreement for a 39,666 sqm development in Konin for a confidential client.
