Brief information about the project from an architectural point of view:
|
Looking for inspiration in the works of the artist, we focused on the work titled"Man and the table."Transforming the characteristic image of a man carrying a table on his back is a symbol of the "clash" of matter, the subject of a human being that creative effort of building a new form, makes sense of the new song. In our work, inspiration is clear as Kantor's artistic concepts, particularly the idea of emballage and art of conflict, tension and breaking stereotypes. The work creates a need in this part of town distinct spatial, form strongly defining the new skyline foothills which was our goal. The building is not designed for a static presentation of the creative achievements of the individual artist, but to continue its dynamic vision of the art and it’s destructive conventions. The public space of the city is a stage and the audience at the same time, it is a place of continuous performance. The part of investment is a renovated building of the former power station from XIX century.
