Brief information about the developer/investor: Rank Progress – an investment and development company on the Polish market since 1997. So far it has carried out 25 investment projects in medium-sized cities, including other large format shopping centres and seven shopping centres it currently owns: in Jelenia Góra, Legnica, Świdnica and already sold facilities in Kalisz, Kłodzko, Zamość, Zgorzelec. An essential advantage of Rank Progress Group is its land bank – 130 ha of attractive land throughout Poland. The company is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Brief information about the project: Galeria Świdnicka is located in the centre of Świdnica, a few minutes’ walk from the Market Square, in one of the two main arteries of the town. Among the key tenants are: Apart, CCC, Cropptown, Empik, Home&You, House, Intermarché, Media Expert, Mohito, Monnari, Orsay, Reserved, Rossmann, Smyk, Top Secret, Vision Express and a Cinema 3D multiplex – the first of this kind of cinema in the city. The shopping centre was already 91 pct occupied before the opening. In the first three days of its opening it was visited by more than 100,000 people, and in its first two months by 700,000 of customers. Moreover, Galeria Świdnicka is not the only shopping centre in the region – it has to compete with a large shopping centre in one of the neighbouring towns and the biggest shopping gallery in Lower Silesia.
