Retail Development of the Year, CEE

Any retail project (such as a shopping centre, retail park, convenience center, standalone building leased by a single tenant, retail module in a mixed-use complex, etc.) that was opened or underwent modernization in the CEE region between August 2024 and August 2025. The jury will evaluate the project's reputation, tenant mix, occupancy rates, financial results, level of local competition, design and specifications quality, BREEAM/LEED certification, as well as the success of the opening or modernization.

BIG Gorzów retail park

BIG Gorzów is the first and the largest shopping complex of this type in Gorzów and region. It is developed on a plot of 8 ha, at Walczaka Street, one of the main entrance roads to the city, assuring excellent communication with the center of Gorzów and the region. On a total area of 25,000 sqm GLA BIG Gorzów offers everything customers need – from a spacious Biedronka supermarket of an area of 1,300 sqm, through a wide range of fashion stores such as Sinsay, Cropp, House, Diverse, HalfPrice, New Yorker or CCC, sports brands such as Decathlon and Martes Sport, drugstores, home & deco stores such as Jysk and consumer electronics as well as Tedi and Maxi Zoo stores. Soon the offer will be increased by Popeyes (opening in December 2025). BIG Gorzów includes approx. 800 parking spaces and infrastructure for charging electric vehicles. The project includes zones for relaxation, entertainment, games and activities for children, gastronomy and interesting solutions of small architecture.
BIG Ostróda retail park

BIG Ostróda is the first and the largest shopping complex of this type in power center format in the region. It offers a total area of over 25,000 m² GLA, covering over 14,500 m² GLA of a retail park, a stand-alone Home & Garden 9,500 m² store as well as additional services such as a drive-thru McDonald’s restaurant, and approx. 700 parking spaces. Currently construction of Popeyees drive through is in progress. Potential gas station/car wash to be delivered. The facility is developed on the main access road to the city center, directly at the junction of the S7 expressway, connecting Warsaw and Gdańsk, and the S16 leading to Olsztyn and Grudziądz. The location of the facility is also naturally perfectly connected with Ostróda and the region. BIG Ostróda catchment zone covers over 120,000 inhabitants as well as extremely intense transit traffic on the S7 and S16 routes.
