B&B Hotel Poznań Old Town

The project consisted in the extension, superstructure and reconstruction of the existing service building along with the change of use from the service function to service and residential purposes. The particular challenge was to combine the existing structure with the new added part. Construction works were carried out in the very center of the city. The building has 6 overground and 2 underground levels. Hotel rooms are located on five floors above the ground floor. On the ground floor, apart from the rooms, there is a lobby with a reception desk, a breakfast room with kitchen facilities and a meeting room. In the basement, office rooms accessible through independent entrances to the building and a car park with 18 parking spaces, social facilities for hotel employees and most of the rooms necessary for hotel service were designed. The design of the common areas on the ground floor of the hotel was inspired by the city's colourful Malta festival.
