Artur Kulawski is a widely recognizable lawyer on the real estate market in Poland with over 25 years of real estate-related experience in cross-border and domestic transactions. He was appointed the head of the practice in 2005. Janusz Dzianachowski is a lawyer with over 15 years of experience in advising international and domestic corporations, investors and developers on major real estate transactions in Poland and in the CEE region. Advising: Chariot Top Group on the €1bn acquisition of a portfolio of 28 retail assets including nine M1 shopping centres in Poland; Globalworth on the €101m acquisition of the A-class Spektrum Tower office building from the fund managed by Europa Capital; Griffin Real Estate and Redefine Properties on the acquisition of logistics properties located in Poland for a total price of around €200m via the European Logistic Investment; CPI Property on the acquisition of Atrium Centrum & Atrium Plaza office buildings in Warsaw; Niam AB on the acquisition from Skanska of the office portfolio comprising buildings such as: Green2Day in Wroclaw, Nowa Fabryczna in Lodz and the first two buildings in the High5ive complex in Kraków; on the establishment and execution of Resi4Rent, the first fully integrated investor, operator and asset manager for purpose-built residential communities in Poland; Echo Investment on the €73m forward sale of Sagittarius Business House office building in Wrocław.

Advising: Bluehouse on a land acquisition and development of a built-to-suit warehouse building (developed by Panattoni) leased to DHL; Panattoni Europe on several construction projects, including: a warehouse for Leroy Merlin, a largest parcel distribution centre for the courier company GLS Poland, a production plant for Sanden Manufacturing Poland, STS Poland, Thule, Skamol Polska and for General Logistics Systems Poland; W.P. Carey on the construction of a building located in Zawiercie for Axa Stenman Poland as the tenant and on the construction of a building located in Radomsko for Ontex Polska as the tenant; UBM Hotel Granary, a Polish affiliate of UBM Development, on the Granary Island Hotel Project in Gdańsk (the Project is a landmark development project located on the northern tip of the Granary Island, in the heart of the medieval Polish port city of Gdansk).

Almost €5 billion – total value of 20 property sales and acquisitions that Linklaters’ Polish and CEE real estate team advised within the last 12 months. The value includes one cross-border transaction from CEE region (disposal to Fort Group of 100% of shares in the holding company that owned through its subsidiaries a portfolio of five shopping centres in Moscow. Transaction with a total value of almost €1bn)
