Dan Zakai

Dan is a serial entrepreneur, Co-founder and CEO of Mindspace. Prior to Mindspace, he founded G Systems Solar Solutions in 2008, a leading solar energy company, which was later acquired, and worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and HSBC.
Dan holds a BA in Law & Business Administration from the IDC, Israel, and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Dan is married and a proud father of four children.

This year Mindspace opened the doors of its first location in Poland, at the renovated Hala Koszyki project. The location spans 3 floors and over 3,000 sqm. The new space accommodates over 450 members. Mindspace offers optimal working solutions to Polish companies, startups, and entrepreneurs, as well as to international businesses expanding to Poland. Mindspace is set to become the new center of the city’s innovation ecosystem through the events that take place in the community - such as keynote speeches, workshops, hackathons, and more. The vibrant, real-world community helps Warsaw members at Mindspace to form meaningful relationships with other members aspiring for greatness, locally and around the world. Mindspace's entry into Poland generated huge interest among the ecosystem and press, resulting in more than 500 news pieces from leading publications including Eurobuild, Puls Biznesu, Business Insider, Forbes, Spider's Web, and more.

Mindspace was founded in 2014 in Israel, the Startup Nation, by Dan Zakai and Yotam Alroy. The company introduced a new standard to coworking spaces with its unique design and excellent customer service, and quickly grew in Israel and expanded to Germany, where it quickly became the market leader with 7 locations in Berlin, Munich and Hamburg. Earlier this year, the company announced its global expansion plans, and followed suit this summer with new locations in Herzliya (Israel), London and Warsaw.
