The company activities in environmental protection
Environmental responsibility is at the heart of Skanska’s buildings. We set carbon budgets from the concept stage, covering embodied and operational emissions, and track them during construction using One Click LCA and carbon modelling. Buildings run on electricity backed by Guarantees of Origin with full electrification as our goal. Tenants can monitor their environmental impact through dedicated tools.
The company activities in social responsibility
At Skanska, people come first. We apply neurodiversity-informed design, co-create inclusive guidelines like Neurodiversity in the Office, and pursue WELL and HSR certifications in our buildings. We balance environmental goals with tenant comfort, ensure accessibility, engage with communities, and provide tools and apps that support tenants’ mental health at work and beyond.
The company activities in the corporate governance issue
At Skanska, responsible business guides everything we do. Our Code of Conduct and supporting policies ensure integrity and set clear expectations for suppliers. They cover health and safety, fair working conditions, anti-corruption, climate, and environmental responsibility. We support UN-defined human rights, aligning our Code with OECD Guidelines and UN Guiding Principles to ensure ethical, transparent, and sustainable practices.
