Project background and description: A confidential client, one of the leading real estate developers in Poland, had a free lot in one of the major regional cities of Poland and they needed to decide whether building a few office buildings there would be economically beneficial and if so, when should they deliver this new office space. They also wanted to know what other functions could be implemented there, if the office market in this particular city would not absorb new supply coming from this project. Thanks to PwC’s GeoAnalytics team, our client has now a complex outlook on the demographics, economy and transportation system of this regional city and can make up decision based on advanced geospatial models instead of generic market reports. Geospatial modelling – a service provided only by PwC, allowing for very detailed (down to street level or, in some cases, even a single building) results of analyses . Also, PwC’s GeoDataMart provides very detailed, up-to-date data on issues.
