A building services client-focused engineer with over 20 years of experience in construction and real estate in Poland and internationally. Under his leadership, the company has earned a leading position on the Polish market proven by high customer opinions. The Warsaw office is the first WELL Building Standard certified project in Poland. Ian promotes the concept of sustainable construction that positively affects the health of its users.

From the beginning, BuroHappold has always strived to deliver an enhanced outcome. What makes our offering so special in 2018, is that our designs have the power to transform; the client’s business, the user’s experience and performance, and increasingly, opportunities for future projects and investment. The advancement of new tools like big data, coding, machine learning and BIM mean that every project lead now incorporate data and computational analysis in the design process. Augmented and virtual reality enable us to experience environments as yet unbuilt. Projects completed between October 2017 and September 2018
- Warsaw office achieved WELL Certification at the Gold level. This is the first office space to achieve the WELL Building Standard TM in Poland, for new and existing interiors, - Varso Place (BREAM on the highest „Outstanding” level and WELL Core & Shell precertificate), - Generation Park (LEED Platinum).

- Spark (design in compliance with requirements to achieve a LEED Platinum rating and WELL certification)
