Krakow is a business city where many of the largest international corporations operating in Poland and Europe have their headquarters. It is not only an attractive labour market, but also an enormous academic and tourist center, all together dynamically builds demand for residential premises, modern office space, hotels and makes the city attractive to the investor.The office market in Krakow is one of the most dynamically developing markets among Polish cities. 2017 brought a continuation of a high activity of developers and of a strong demand in the city, which led to record-breaking new supply being delivered in the city, and to a record-breaking office take-up. The total office stock in the city in 2017 exceeded 1 million m2, and at the end of 2017 it was estimated at 1.1 million m2. Krakow has a very well developed hotel market and the largest number of officially categorised hotels (158) compared to other cities in Poland.
