Skanska S.A. is the part of the Skanska Group, established in 1887. Skanska is a leading international project development and construction company. We build in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, caring for the future needs of communities that we operate in. We focus on how our projects will influence the life of people and the country’s development in the long-term. Skanska S.A. acts according to its new “City Builder” strategy. Our aim is to concentrate business in large urban agglomerations, focus on increase involvement in the implementation of complex projects as well as maintaining cooperation with other units from the Group. We focus on the locations and segments with the greatest potential for long-term growth – offices, residential and civil engineering in cities – and projects that yield the biggest profits. We focus our activity on seven major Polish cities: Warsaw, Poznan, Lodz, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Katowice. We also focus on the contracts which can yield added value for both business partners and communities. We are the only contractor of Skanska’s office and residential projects – modern, comfortable office complexes in the biggest Polish cities and one of the first green and certified residential estates in Warsaw.

Magnus Persson became the head of the construction business of Skanska Group in Poland - Skanska SA in January 2018. He has been associated with Skanska for 20 years. In 2000, he was directly involved in the implementation of one of the first office projects in Poland - the Atrium office building in Warsaw. Magnus Persson has many years of experience in running large engineering projects and in managing construction business. Magnus joined Skanska in Poland in October 2016.

We are the leader of office buildings’ construction in Polish regional cities, contributing highly to their development. We focus our activity on seven major Polish cities: Warsaw, Poznan, Lodz, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Katowice. Office buildings constructed by Skanska were the first to be LEED Platinum certified in Poland. We want to actively develop the construction and real estate market in Poland, launching modern technologies and global solutions. We use a wide range of new technologies: 3D laser scanning, HoloLenses, drones and mobile apps. Skanska, as the first general contractor in Poland, has implemented the BIM 360 tool set at construction sites. We build in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, caring for the future needs of communities that we operate in. We focus on how our projects will influence the life of people and the country’s development in the long-term.
